Citeo and Éco-Entreprises Québec are organizations that represent French and Québec businesses that use packaging, and which collectively finance recycling systems. Their co-sponsored conference, “Plastic solutions: what recycling innovations are happening on both sides of the Atlantic?” will be held in Paris in early February, to align with the meeting that will take place between the different ministers of Environment, Oceans, and Energy when the G7 summit takes place in France.
The forum will concentrate on new research on polymers, including depolymerisation, and will highlight promising projects and technologies that can help decrease the use of plastic, increase recycling rates, and bring a circular economy into being.
Participants will be able to meet and engage with both public and business leaders to learn about new technologies and develop new ways of partnering on behalf of the circular economy.
